CSA Eldercare

We are A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS formerly known as CAROL SEAGER ASSOCIATES

& have been providing Home Health Care throughout Worcester County and the surrounding Central Massachusetts communities For over 30 Years.

Caregivers You Can Trust

We are a family owned business, not a franchise.

CSA was established with the goal of hiring people who were professional, compassionate, kind and reliable. Thirty years later we are still employing and hiring people we trust to provide exceptional care to our clients.

We have been very fortunate to have a successful, organically formed internal referral system. We believe that happy employees who are paid fair and equitable wages make for happy employees who will encourage their friends and family to work for the same company they have been working for and trust themselves.

Our belief is that by keeping overhead low we can offer our staff a competitive wage that they will be happy with and not want to leave us for another health care company. And that has been the case. We have staff members that have been with us 10, 20 and even 30 years. They are a point of pride and we are so grateful to them.

This means we are putting good people in your home. People that we know well and that we hold in admiration for their level of knowledge, professionalism and dedication, along with the faith, care and courage they show under sometimes incredibly difficult and complex situations. We are continually in awe of the energy they have for this type of work.

Individualized Care

No two people are alike; therefore, no two care plans will be the same, not at CSA.

Our case management team will meet with you and your loved ones in your home to find out what your exact needs will be. We will create an Individualized Care Plan addressing your needs in all areas of care, including but not limited to medical, emotional, personal preferences and accessibility. This plan is a live document that is continually updated as needed.

Daily services can include anything from meal preparation (including cooking with you or your family member if desired), assistance with hygiene, home cleaning, errands, doctor's appointments, dining out and other community activities and socialization with friends. In some cases, we arrange property maintenance and assist with bill paying.

We work to see what is needed then provide quality care in order to have the highest quality of life and independence possible.

When the time comes, we will provide gentle, compassionate and competent care in your home right to end of life. There is never a need to leave your home if you so choose.

Experienced Home Health Aids Backed Up by Accessible Management

Very high standards and mutual respect are key to a trusted relationship with our caregivers, and that is the key to putting good people in your home.

We not only strive to help you with everyday tasks, but want to develop a caring relationship with you. We provide one-on-one attention and incomparable care.

We do not believe in using answering services. The owner or manager is available nearly24/7/365, during the rare times she is not available the phone is forwarded to a decision capable manager who is familiar with all our families. If you need something, or are you concerned about something, just call or text us for an immediate response any time day or night.

Our Services

In Home Care

Age related physical difficulties and disabilities are some of the many circumstances that prevent people from caring for themselves and continuing to participate in activities they enjoy.

Our caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, exercising and grooming.

We can help you stay active if that is your desire and keep you safe at night.

We have been providing senior care for decades and have skilled caregivers with experience in keeping you active and moving or supported and safe depending on your home health care needs.

Post-Surgical Assistance

Many people choose to do in-home rehab rather than go to a facility and risk infection. Recovering from home after surgery can limit you with your daily activities.

Our compassionate caregivers can assist you in attaining a healthy and complete recovery, while helping you manage tasks until you are strong again.

Mental Health

Sometimes a person with severe mental health issues can have a greatly increased quality of life simply by having a friend who also understands how to help.

This help can include motivation, medication management, and simply staying on track and preventing decompensation and hospitalization.

It helps if that friend is a home health aide with experience in helping people stay on track.

Dementia Care

Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both patients and their families.

Caregivers are specifically trained in dementia/Alzheimer's care and have tremendous compassion and patience.

Our goal is to help individuals and their loved ones live happy and fulfilling lives, one day at a time.

Hospice Support

Our aides provide end of life care in varied circumstances and have working relationships with the local hospice agencies. We are able to give prescribed medications under the guidance of the hospice nurse.

Ask your hospice agency about us, but please ask about Carol Seager Associates, as that is the original name of our Agency and not everyone knows us as CSA Eldercare.

Meal Preparation

Occasionally we have someone who is no longer able to cook for themselves but is generally still able to live alone.

In select areas, we can send an aide to a home a few days a week to prepare and plate several days of meals, as well as other tasks like take out trash, laundry, light housekeeping and shopping.

Typically, these visits are a six hour minimum twice a week.
